Pagan Prayers & Gothic Wares

Our Story

Pagan Prayers & Gothic Wares didn’t begin as a business, it began as a quiet return to self.

During the stillness of COVID just after having my last baby, I found myself needing something that felt like mine again. Something that filled my cup at a time where so much of me was being poured into everything else. I started working with wood and resin, making messes and learning new skills.

What began as a creative outlet slowly took on a life of its own until it turned into something that felt worth sharing.

After a messy ending and a need to rebuild, this space became more than just creative. It became a way to rediscover who I was underneath everything, to come back to something that felt grounded and entirely my own.

What grew from that is an eclectic, ever-evolving mix of dark cottagecore, soft gothic influence, and a love for the unusual. It’s layered, a little chaotic, and exactly what it’s meant to be.

Shaped by seasons, my personal growth, and the belief that things unfold when they’re ready.

Our Mission

At its heart, this space is about creating things that feel
meaningful, not just beautiful, but right.

I’ve always loved taking everyday objects like tumblers, cutting
boards, and practical pieces, transforming them into something a little
darker, a little more whimsical, and a little strange. Not heavy or overwhelming, but
something that fits into real homes, real routines, and real life.

Because the truth is, it isn’t always a world of candlelit rooms and constant darkness. Sometimes it’s a home with young kids, with light,
noise, and the kind of energy that means things need to be both beautiful and
functional. Where the aesthetic lives alongside real life - not separate from it.

This is also a space built on inclusivity and understanding.
It’s shaped by both the neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ communities, communities
that value authenticity, self-expression, and the freedom to exist as you are.
That spirit is quietly woven into everything here: a respect for individuality,
for different ways of experiencing the world, and for creating without needing
to fit a mould.

There’s a quiet appreciation for the unusual, the slightly
offbeat, the things that don’t quite fit anywhere else but somehow feel exactly
right.

While a lot of inspiration may be drawn from paganism and
spirituality, those practices are deeply personal and gently held. This space
isn’t about performance, it’s about intention, individuality, and trusting the
process of becoming.

You’ll find a mix of handcrafted work, curated pieces, and
clearly labelled AI-assisted designs, because transparency matters just as much
as creativity.

Everything here is created with the understanding that
things come together in their own time and often become exactly what they’re
meant to be.
